My husband and I farm in central Minnesota, USA. We raise and sell AQHA and APHA performance horses. We raise beef cattle on a mostly grass operation, and at times crops and/or hay. What we don’t raise ourselves we buy from other local farmers. Our farm is also home to a mixed group of chickens, guinea hens, and a few dogs.
I am interested in your pigs. Do you sell them? How much do they cost? Are they good with children and starngers? What does it take to keep them happy? Where is Long Praire?

Hi Ellie,
I sent you an email a week or two ago. You can visit our website http://www.sugarstonefarm.com for details on the pigs. Email us at clf@brainerd.net for more info.

Would like to purchase some of your guineafowls. Is this possible and if so , how would we go about doing so.
Waiting for your response. sincerely,

Hi Toney,
I don’t have any extra Guineas at the moment. We’re down to two hens and one rooster. One of the hens is sitting on her nest now, so hopefully she’ll hatch some out. The best way to get Guineas is put a wanted ad on craigslist in the farm section, or go to an exotic animal auction if you can find one near you. You can also get hatching eggs (if you have an incubator) or chicks from most hatcheries. I’m hoping to get a few chicken hens this fall that are good setting type hens, as then next year I can collect the guinea eggs and have the chickens hatch and raise them too.
