Thanksgiving in Arizona

Arizona Family

This year for the Thanksgiving holiday, G and I flew south to Arizona to visit his family.  Above is a pic of me and G and his parents.

I had never been to Arizona before and it was amazing to me how different the landscape is there.  The different cacti and bushes were interesting, and I was surprised to see so many palm trees in the city.  I always thought palms grew only in tropical places, not in the desert.

Here are a few more pics:

Arizona Tin Man

I just loved the tin man in the garden!

Arizona Daisy

And this is Daisy, a filly we bred and sold to G’s sister and husband.  It was so great to see her so grown so big!

We had a great visit with G’s family, they are all so nice and I enjoyed spending the holiday with them.

I want to thank G’s parents for their hospitality in letting us stay in their home, and also thank our neighbors who did the farm chores for us while we were away.  Thank you!  :)
