Wednesday we drove to St Paul to pick out two Guinea Hogs. We chose one gilt and one boar, here is a picture of them riding in our stock trailer.
They are seven months old and weigh about 50 pounds. We got them into their new pens, and separated them. They had been together with their littermates (two different litters in one big group) until this day, so they were a little unhappy at first. But they settled in and both ate their supper right up. I took some pictures this morning, here is the boar:
