With this year’s heifers now weaned, it’s time to start supplementing them a bit with a grain mix from the local feed mill.  We feed them in the barn, on a concrete aisleway. 

 Our large flock of Guineas had started roosting in this aisle recently, making an awful mess!  Got it cleaned out today so the heifers “table” is ready for them to eat.  Above is a pic of last years heifers enjoying their breakfast.
